Requesting Time Off / Calling Out

PNWK CALL OUT POLICY

Regular attendance is essential to the safety and wellbeing of all PNWK students as well as staff. When teachers are absent; ratios and responsibilities fall behind putting pressure on our team as a whole. 

Employees are expected to report to work as scheduled and on time. If it is not possible to report for work as scheduled, employees must follow call out procedures for absences or late arrivals. Absences must be reported at least 2 hours before their starting time.       

Call out procedures should be followed each day of an absence unless otherwise arranged. Calling in is the responsibility of every employee who is absent. Absence without notification is considered will result in a termination evaluation.

A point system is in place to help PNWK admin as well as each staff to monitor their own attendance and when a review needs to take place to discuss solutions.
